My New Love

Adrenaline pumping; Crashing waves; Split second decisions that can alter the course of the perfect run; All these things come to mind when I sit from the Waving Gallery Beach Bar and Restaurant upstairs the Store Bay Beach Facility. Seeing the perilous waves crashing atop the shore makes me quiver to say the least. But at the same time, sparks my greatest curiosity. Something that a Caribbean born like myself would only watch on television while enjoying one of my favorite shows 90210, I got a glimpse of the nerve wrecking glory of conquering the waves. Wondering how on earth could these insane individuals float out to sea on a piece of board, it grasped my attention in a new way. The ocean is something us of the Caribbean enjoy in a completely different way. But after doing some research, there's an entire society of individuals from near and far that relish the opportunity of overcoming the great deep.
Naturally the thought of venturing out myself is something that I haven't even entertained for a split second, until now of course. Seeing the pure bliss that covered the faces of those with more cojones than I, coupled with the contentment of overcoming these aquatic variations, I'm left with no choice but to delve further into the world of the surfer. This is your Caribbean SurferBoi reporting from Store Bay, Tobago.
